All students in Year 7 are encouraged to take part in a full day of Bushcraft Activities at Penshurst Place.This trip takes place during ARE Week when the whole school is off timetable and we are able to run special trips for Years 7–9. During the rest of the week, students take part in workshops.
The trip is run by the Bushcraft Company (a Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge holder) and students have the opportunity to take part in activities including exercises in camouflage and concealment, shelter building and wilderness cookery. See the Bushcraft website for more information.
