Get into teaching: train to teach at TWGSB
If you are thinking about training to be a teacher our school would be a great place to start. We work in partnership with Kent and Medway Training (KMT) who are based in Kent and the South East to support you through your Initial Teacher Training (ITT). Over the last few years we have had trainees in Maths, Science, DT, PE, RE and Philosophy and History, as well as offering secondary placements in Drama, Art, PE and Food and Nutrition.
Bursaries are available for subjects such as English, Maths, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Design Technology and Languages through the Department of Education: https://getintoteaching.education.gov.uk/train-to-be-a-teacher.
If you are looking for a career change and are worried that your subject knowledge may need refreshing, there are courses available once you have been offered a placement.
