Kestrels beat Hawks in the final of the Year 7 Inter House Football 2-0 in a closely fought match.

TWGSB Year 7 Football Team played their first match on Saturday against Oakwood Park Grammar school. All the boys involved played very well and as a result won 7 – 1!

Our first themed concert this year proved to be a great success. We played to a full audience who were seated in cabaret style with tasty nibbles and refreshments to keep the evening going with a swing.

Sports Day proved to be an excellent, fun event with the whole school present. It was a pleasure to see so many colourful t-shirts (great idea Mr Douse) all representing their House with pride and determination.

Ospreys team of A Chapman, J Knight, E Fish, T Domeny-Johnson and L Evans won all their matches in the Inter House Junior tennis tournament, even the decisive match against Merlins who came second.

Congratulations to Daniel Kommu on winning the third International ‘Maths in Motion’ Grand Prix. This was the third and final International race of the year. Daniel and Ali Manser also won the first race and came second in the other.
