Results Days August 2020

Results will be sent to TWGSB students on their school email address from 08:00 on the relevant day. Due to JCQ guidance, results can only be sent directly to the student and we are unable to include parents or carers on these emails.

If candidates have any questions about exam results, members of the Sixth Form/Leadership teams will be available for a telephone conversation on Thursday 13th/20th and Friday 14th/21st August. Please email: with your contact details and availability. These details will be passed on and a member of staff will call you back as soon as possible. Please DO NOT visit the school site in person.

To accept or decline a Sixth Form place at TWGSB – deadline Friday 21st August 2020

Our Sixth Form is currently oversubscribed and we would appreciate a swift return so that we can offer places to students on our waiting list.

TWGSB students should confirm take-up of their place on Results Day, via email.
External students should similarly confirm take-up of their place on Results Day via email, providing proof of grades (e.g. photograph of results slip or exam certificates).

For other candidates who have not already applied to TWGSB, please note our requirement for Sixth Form. You should have obtained at least 45 points from your best 8 GCSE grades with no less than a grade 5 in English Language and Mathematics. Students wishing to study Mathematics at A Level must have a minimum of grade 7 at GCSE.
For other subjects at least a grade 6 is required in the subject the student wishes to study at A Level, or in a closely related subject for those subjects that are new to the curriculum in the Sixth Form.

See the course pages in the Sixth Form Prospectus for the requirements for specific subjects offered at A Level.

Please email us at to see whether we can offer you a place.
