Year 11 Geology Field Trip to the Jurassic Coast in Dorset
Year 11 Geology
Following previous very successful field trips, we are going to return to the PGL Centre at Osmington Bay where we will be able to study the Jurassic beds on their own private beach. We will also visit the Isle of Portland to look at the limestone beds, rock extraction and the area of Lulworth Cove to study the effect of Geology on coastal erosion, as well as taking a closer look at the folded structures at Durdle Door.
Any queries, please contact Mr Ash, Head of Geology.
