TWGSB Year 8 student Sam Chard enjoyed a trip to the House of Commons to meet with the Rt. Hon. Sir Michael Fallon MP. The Sevenoaks MP hosted a private meeting with Sevenoaks Youth Council of which Sam is a member.
The meeting took place in immediately prior to Sir Michael’s statement in the Chamber in his role as Secretary of State for Defence. Sam and his fellow Youth Councillors were also provided with tickets to watch the House of Commons and given a tour of the historic building.
