Students noted for academic excellence by Oxford University
Tyron Surmon and Ollie Gill (Year 13) were invited to St Hugh’s Oxford to participate in a lunch with a number of history professors. In a history competition run by the college their essays were highly commended for the quality of research. The competition attracted over 230 entries from sixth form students around the country. In effect, they came in the top 10. The History Department would like to congratulate these students for their hard work, determination to succeed and engagement in the subject.
