Football Season finished on a high
Students and teachers from Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys attended the annual Kent Schools FA Presentation at Gillingham FC’s Priestfield Stadium. It has been a particularly successful season for the school winning three Kent titles. Harry Osborne collected the U’19 1st XI Kent League and Kent Cup trophies, whilst Fabian Kommu collected the U’19 2ndXI Kent Cup trophy in front of 450 guests. The 1st XI finished the season unbeaten in Kent winning 15 matches and drawing 2. In addition to these titles won this season the U’16 Futsal team claimed the Kent Cup and then finished joint first in the South East England Finals. The U’12B team reached the Quarter-Final of the 9v9 Football national cup. Head of Football Drew Menzies said “we are delighted with what the boys in our teams have achieved this season. Football continues to go from strength to strength at the school. We are looking forward to the new season starting in September”.
