PRESS RELEASE - 20th August 2020

Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys would like to congratulate our Year 11 cohort on their GCSE examination results. In what we know has been a very difficult year, they should all be exceptionally proud of their achievements.

There are many individual successes and standout achievements with more than 15 students achieving mostly 9s and 8s. Headteacher, Amanda Simpson, comments:

”What stands out is the depth and breadth of our curriculum, with students succeeding in a wide range of both academic and creative subjects. The excellent performances and improvements in subjects such as English Language, Drama, Media, Geography, History and Maths really demonstrates the versatility of our students and I am very proud of them.”

We look forward to welcoming many of our students back to the Sixth Form to build on this excellent foundation for their A level studies and wish them all every success and happiness in the next stage of their lifelong learning.
