Pop-up Restaurant and Auction Evening
Dear Parents, Carers and Staff
The PTA would like to invite you to the first pop-up restaurant and auction night to be held on Saturday 10 March 2018 in the small dining hall at the school. We would very much like to make this an annual event and would be delighted if you could join us for our inaugural evening.
The evening will kick off with a prosecco reception at 7.30pm followed by the PTA cooking a three course meal for the guests (vegetarian options will be available). A bar will be open during the course of the evening and at 10pm we will be holding our auction. We already have a number of fantastic items and these include:- paintings, interior design consultations, a designer handbag, dinner for 4 and a three-bedroom villa on the beach in Ibiza for a week.
We will be decorating the dining hall to create an intimate, bistro feeling for the event and the night will close with music and dancing.
Unfortunately, we are limited to approximately 60 people for the evening and we are looking for parents to book tables for 6 or 8 people. We will be running this on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. There will be no up-front cost for the tickets, however, envelopes will be provided on the night for payment and we would ask for a minimum of £30 per head which includes half a bottle of wine per person and a glass of Prosecco on arrival. We do hope that you will give more generously on the night and our aim is to feed you well and give you a fantastic night out, whilst raising as much money as we can for the school.
The dress code for the night is ‘Fabulous’, so we hope you can dig out your best glad rags. We would also welcome you to come by the school on the day and decorate your table as ‘fabulously’ as you can i.e. tablecloths, balloons, flowers, party poppers and as much glitz as you like. There will be a prize for the best dressed table of the evening.
In order to reserve your place at this FABULOUS EVENT you will need to register your interest on the PTA-Events website https://www.pta-events.co.uk/twgsbpta. The site will launch on Monday 12 February at 10am, so be sure to register as early as possible as places will go quickly! Tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
