Required from 16^th April 2012 for one year maternity cover, a Science specialist to teach across the full 11-18 age range, including A-Level Biology. 

The Science Department at Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys is thriving, with strong uptake in the Sixth Form in all three Sciences.  Results are good and improving year on year. 

We have 12 teaching staff and 4 technicians, servicing 10 laboratories, with all lessons taught in specialist accommodation. It is expected that every member of the Science team will play a full role in the development of the teaching and learning conducted in Science.

At GCSE, Dual Award AQA Science A is taken by most boys, with Triple Award as a popular option.

At A-Level, OCR Biology is taken by our boys and girls.

An Enhanced CRB Disclosure will be required.
