The U19 1st XI won the Kent Cup on Friday evening. The score was 3-3 after normal time and we won 5-3 after extra-time. 64 schools entered and I'm delighted to say that we are now champions.

Alex Burns, Yassine Noui and Marcus Chan are representing the school in this national competition run by the RSC's Analytical Division for first year sixth form students studying AS level Chemistry.

The drop-goal sudden death play-off was bound to be a bit of a tame finale but the morning overall was full of exitement. Two successful kicks by Merlins to Falcons’ one and thus Merlins won the competition.

Nearly 100 students took part in the concert performing a wide range of music from film soundtracks including Pirates of the Caribbean, Shrek, The Pink Panther, James Bond, and many more.

Christopher Cohen came a highly creditable ninth position at the Blackheath and Bromley Cross-Country Challenge, run at the Sparrow's Den course in Bromley.
