China Tour 2010
A large group of Year 9 boys recently visited Beijing, Xi’an and Shanghai. They had a fantastic time and these are a small selection from the thousands of photos that were taken during the tour. Without Regina, our brilliant tour guide, we would not have seen the amazing sights that China has to offer. Thank you!

The Team
The U19 1st XI won the Kent Cup on Friday evening. The score was 3-3 after normal time and we won 5-3 after extra-time. 64 schools entered and I'm delighted to say that we are now champions.

Alex Burns, Yassine Noui and Marcus Chan are representing the school in this national competition run by the RSC's Analytical Division for first year sixth form students studying AS level Chemistry.

Reece Hinton retained the Tunbridge Wells Grammar School Low Handicapper trophy for the fourth year in a row.

The drop-goal sudden death play-off was bound to be a bit of a tame finale but the morning overall was full of exitement. Two successful kicks by Merlins to Falcons’ one and thus Merlins won the competition.

Music at the Movies Concert
Nearly 100 students took part in the concert performing a wide range of music from film soundtracks including Pirates of the Caribbean, Shrek, The Pink Panther, James Bond, and many more.

In the final, strong 'blitz' tackling from all Hawks and two hits in particular by scrum-half Will Chadbon warmed the crowd in the chill conditions.
