Music Residential - Lodge Hill

The Music Department is currently organising our annual three-day residential course for instrumentalists and singers. This trip has been a huge success in the past and we would like to invite students from Years 7 - 9 to attend. This is a great opportunity for musicians of all levels to develop their skills and beginners are also encouraged to apply. The focus of the course will be music making and composition; however, there will be some free time for team building activities as well, providing a perfect opportunity for the boys to make new friends. Much of the work will also be showcased in our Christmas concert.

The course will run from Wednesday 11 to Friday 13 October at the Lodge Hill Centre in Pulborough. This centre has outstanding facilities and all meals are included. The comfortable rooms are made up of 2, 3 or 4 beds. Fifteen bath and shower rooms are spread over three levels of the complex. All bedding is provided for guests, but boys will need to bring their own towels and toiletries. We will travel by coach, leaving at around 10am on Wednesday morning and returning to school by 3.30pm on Friday.

The cost of the course is £135. A maximum of forty-seven places are available and three of the School’s staff will attend to run the programme. If the number of applications exceeds forty-seven, a ballot will be taken to allocate the places.

Please see your Parentmails for further details. The deadline for the deposit is 14th September.
