Business Studies and Economics A Level Trip to Munich
The Business Studies and Economics department is delighted to offer its A Level students the opportunity to partake in a subject related visit to Munich, Germany during Activities Week, 10-14 July 2017.
This visit will take place over 5 days, and will include 4 nights stay in the Meininger Hotel. While in Munich, the group will visit:
- ï· The BMW Plant
- ï· Grossmarkthalle, the fourth largest municipal market in Europe
- ï· The Allianz Arena, home of Bayern Munich
- ï· The Olympic Park in Munich
- ï· The Erdinger Brewery
- ï· One meal at the Hard Rock Café
Each visit will have a Business and Economics focus, with explicit links being made to the exam specifications for both subjects. This provides a fantastic opportunity for students to see the subjects applied to the real world, as well as the chance to use their experiences in their UCAS personal statements.
The total cost of the trip will be £675. This includes accommodation, flights (including 1 piece of hold luggage), airport transfers, an allowance for public transport costs while in Munich, half board arrangements and all taxes and insurances.
