Year 7 Admissions 2017
All parents/carers are invited to express four preferences on a Secondary Common Application Form (SCAF) which is returnable to the Local Authority (LA) by 31st October 2016.
Parents can express their preferences in priority order – that is 1, 2, 3 and 4. Having expressed your preferences on the SCAF, you are not in a position to change your mind at a later date. The preference order is not shared with schools.
For admission to Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys, applicants will need to have secured a “grammar” assessment as notified in a letter from the LA sent out to you on the 13th of October 2016. In addition, If you registered online, you will be sent an email after 4pm on 13th October 2016. You also need to have named this School on the Secondary Common Application Form (SCAF).
Parents will be notified of the result of the offer of a school place in a letter sent on 1st March 2017 by the LA or if you applied online and provided a valid email address you will be notified by email after 4pm.
