The Governors of Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys wish to appoint an outstanding professional to lead this highly successful, friendly Grammar School, building upon the significant achievements of Mr John Harrison who leaves after ten years’ distinguished service. The ideal candidate will be committed to leading a school where outstanding enrichment, teamwork and leadership opportunities enhance the development of life skills and confidence alongside academic excellence.

Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys is a popular school with over 1250 students, including 330 in its thriving sixth form. Girls are welcomed to the sixth form and currently the school has 50 female students. The school celebrates diversity and is committed to equality of opportunity for all. It prioritises Pupil Premium students in its oversubscription criteria for Year 7 entry and it plans additional measures to identify and provide access to able students from less advantaged backgrounds.
